It's Nissan Truck Month -- Check Out the New Nissan Frontier and Nissan TITAN XD, J.D. Power Award Winners!

Throughout its history, Nissan has had a way of standing out from other truck manufacturers out there. This year, it passed another mile marker.

The brand became one of only a handful of the J.D. Power authority's most awarded brands, with Nissan Frontier earning a "Most Dependable Mid-Size Pickup" award for 2019 and Nissan TITAN XD earning a "Highest Initial Quality" award in the large, light-duty pickup segment for 2019. What did both new Nissan pickups have to do to get there? Demonstrate exceptional long-term reliability, both by tallying the fewest issues experienced by verified owners and by showing ease of overall use.

We at Lithia Nissan of Clovis can certainly see where the appreciation came from. Nissan Frontier, for instance, and its 152-horsepower, 2.5-liter I4 and 261-horsepower, 4.0-liter V6 options, paired with a five- or six-speed manual or five-speed auto transmission, offers capabilities that go the distance. Expect to get up to 19 mpg city and 23 mpg highway as well as tow up to 6,720 pounds with an SV trim, King Cab configuration, V6 engine, and 4x2 drivetrain.

Nissan TITAN XD, for another example, takes longevity a step further. Its powerful standard 5.6-liter V8, shelling 390 horsepower and 394 pound-feet of torque, quickly becomes an available 5.0-liter Cummins V8 Turbo Diesel, producing 310 horsepower backed by a crushing 555 pound-feet. Mated to a seven-speed auto or available Aisin 6-speed auto, it can haul up to 2,990 pounds and tow up to 12,710 pounds, assuming a single-cab build.

Let's not forget: both include the self-styled "America's Best Truck Warranty," an excellent 5 years or 100,000 miles of coverage, bumper-to-bumper. That's not to mention tons of Nissan safety features and interior accommodations and technologies befitting a mobile office.

If you're eager to see all that J.D. Power and we are talking about, call or visit us here at 370 West Herndon Ave in Clovis CA. We'll be happy to show you what a new Nissan truck can mean for your drive!
